As fierce and indomitable as any man, Isabelle of Langston rules the family lands with an iron hand after her father's death. But the brazen beauty meets her match in Hugh Fauconier, bold knight and rightful Saxon heir to Langston Keep. BBy the king's hand, he is made her husband. Hugh's virile prowess reveals to Belle the delicious pleasures of the flesh, as their turbulent days of verbal sparring melt into nights of erotic abandon.

If you love historical romances, you will love Bertrice Small's writing. All of her books (Hellion included!) are wonderful stories and well researched. She makes you feel as though have gone back in time are there! Not for the faint-hearted, though. Her books are explicit and Hot!

This was not the best by Bertrice Small. You start out with a knight who is going to get back his family's land which was taken by a king a hundred years ago. The catch is he has to marry the girl who now lives there who is a hellion. The story line is pretty good but, it goes through different parts of the story a little fast without much detail which was kind of surprising to me because she always puts a lot of detail in her novels.

I really enjoyed this one. Filled with lots of spice in a non-traditional historical romance. A must read.
