A heart-warming read about a group of women and their lives, how one woman deals with her mid-life reinvention and friendship. There is many humorous situations as well as some that will make you sad or cry. A chick-lit fiction novel that would be amazing for the beach this summer! I really love the cover - it is just so vibrant and crisp, and it draws you right in. I really enjoyed the bond and relationship with the teenager left on Kelly's doorstep. Having a teen myself obsessed with her weight, it really hit home. Readers will find enjoyment and connection within these pages, and regret when you happen upon the last page. I highly recommend this novel!!

I can not say enough great things about this author and book.
I was hooked from the 1st chapter and couldn't wait to finish. But at the end I didn't want it to end, I wanted the story to continue.
A great feel good, love story, and of course the lying cheating bad guys mixed in.

Kelly Johnson is begin fitted for a new mouth guard to prevent her from grinding her teeth in bed. During the winter she had a cancer scare that was settled with a biopsy following her annual mammogram. She has a loving husband, a beautiful home and two sons (who are currently at summer camp). Everything should be fine, right? But Kelly also has the signs of mild depression and dissatisfaction with her life and feeling that she needs to take charge of it. On sticky notes to herself labeled T2C (Things to Change) she begins her self exploration. On the way she sees her friends in new ways, starts a home staging business and begins to appreciate the things she has more. It was fun to travel along with Kelly on her journey. A thought I took away from the book was on a sign she had found at an antique shop, "Do one thing everyday that scares you." At the end of the book is a T2C list with an action followed by a rationale in parentheses. I may take that list and make my own, filling in an action to match the rationale.
