Great series. Read all three. Historical fiction like you were there.
Like the two books before it, this 3rd book in the trilogy is loaded with minute details of battles, armor, and weaponry. Heretic is a nice wrap-up to the story of Thomas of Hookton and his reluctant search for the grail.

Not as good as some of his books but it is worth the read.
This is the 3rd book in the series and is also my favorite. The subject matter is basically about faith and the grail but the picture of times in the 1300's is vivid and so interesting
Enjoyed the series and Book 3 didn't disappoint.
