Part of the Broken Arrow Ranch series, but can be read independent of the others. Katherine Wyatt comes to Colorado from her English home to mend a broken heart. While staying with her family, she finds herself in the company of her brother-in-law's half brother, Hunter Sinclair. Hunter is visiting, trying to help solve the mystery of who is trying to drive the Wyatt family off their inherited ranch, and ends up becoming Katherine's protector after a series of attacks on the family.
