Kinda-like Dune light. Very ambitious. Vazillion characters. Many-many plot threads. A little skimpy on the characterizations, especially with all of the shallow feeling romances . But, I still want to know whats going to happen next, and to me, that is a good read.
I loved this book series. Kevin Anderson does a fine job of showing all points of views of the numerous characters in this book series. I went out and bought the next 4 books as soon as I finished this one (and I'm cheap about spending cash for books!)
