Basic book with lots of info. Good for a first look at this subject.

All I heard in graduate school was, "Lee Canter, Lee Canter, Lee Canter!" Like a mantra. Well, let's see what Mr. Lee Canter can do regarding teacher burnout! Obviously not much! I really didn't like the book. Maybe I'm not a "high-performing teacher" like the title indicates. Whatever reason, this book did not help me with any potential burnout problems that might occur. Instead I went to good old Dale Carnegie and Norman Vincent Peale and "The Secret." All of these actually worked much better than Lee Canter's book. Maybe it's just me.
