Not one of Jennie Hansen's Best books, But still a nice Clean story with intrigue.
Luke is 14 when he finds his parents dead on their ranch and determines to catch the raiders. He works as a ranch hand for 4 yrs while tailing the man that got away. Developing a name as a sharp shooter. One night he meets MAddie who begs for him to assist her in escaping.
The story was Nice but lacked depth and development in the relationship of the characters. For example, Luke stays one night with a couple at the beginning of his journey and then supposedly yrs later people know to look for him there. WHat? And the LDS part of the story seemed just tossed in and not developed.
