Alas, another author and his work that has descended into shadows of obscurity. High Towers is a historical novel concerning the Le Moyne brothers of 17th century Montreal from their conquest of the English at Hudson Bay to the settling of New Orleans. This historical novel is well-written and rings true despite the fact that little is known about the Le Moynes. It is one more novel and author that have fallen into obscurity for no apparent reason than they are part of the latter 20th century. Read it anyway.
