Well, if I had never read any other books by this author, I never would read her again. This novels revolves around a villain who rapes children and cannot sleep with his fifteen year old wife...thats too old for him. I do not ever want to pick up a escapist, genre novel and be confronted with such realistic nightmare. It was so bad and distracting that I couldn't get into the story or care about the hero and heroine. No what I want in a romance novel.
Also, the heroine is described as having dark, raven hair and nicknamed "Shadow" because of her coloring and skill at moving about unnoticed. I ask you, is that not a blond on the cover?
