I wanted to love the book but didn't. I think we all buy with our eyes 1st and I was hoping for hot, sinful highlander action. Instead what you get is a brooding, insecure highlander who spends the entire book debating his thought and feelings for his young wife.

Ok, there's some hot sex in the second half of the book, & a menage a trois, anal sex, etc. But I found myself slogging through the first half of the book. I was very tempted to put it down & forget it except for the promise of steamy sex somewhere down the line. So for those of you who want some history with their sex, you'll have to wade through the morass of drama in the first half of the book. Too bad the author couldn't carry off the whole book this way.

Really didnt think I would like this book after reading the back, but found it quite steamy and enjoyable.
Picked up this title as part of "Order more books from member" after requesting the "Wish List" title just posted; likely would never have run across it otherwise.
Maybe I'm showing my age [75], but I like a bit more plot in books I read. This one is almost all obsession, with a tidbit of history, and LOTS of steamy sex. Only got through about 75% of volume, in just under a month [and I'm a person who can read a whole book in under a day when it holds my interest!].
Have read 15+ books since this one arrived, so my disinterest hasn't been due to other activities taking over my reading time.
Still trying to decide whether to re-post or toss in paper recycling bin!
