This book had me crying and holding my breath. Excellent Book!! One book that was way too hard to put down!!
After the Montgomery's show up to claim the McHugh castle Genevieve hopes her life will change for the better. She has been held captive and abused for the last year by Ian and Patrick McHugh. In the last book a hooded woman helped the Montgomery's find Eveline who had also been captured by the McHugh's. Now Bowen is trying to figure out who the lass is that helped them but seems to be hated by the McHugh clan.
Maya Banks is an excellent author!!

I was shocked how much I enjoyed this. It was a tearjerker in different parts of the story since this is about a survivor. I found Genevieve's strength amazing and very touching. Bowen was the perfect hero.
This is definitely one of those sweeping romances like a Celine Dion video or something.
