Enjoyable closed room mystery, part of an excellent series.

An OK mystery, although the explanation of the locked room murder is so complicated that I sort of gave up trying to visualize how the killer set it up. Writing is pleasant, and although it's not a long book, some side trips could have been left out. Interactions between the police inspector and his rookie helper were lively and somewhat amusing. (Note: there is one character whose penchant for racist remarks may reflect the times, but would not pass muster in 2020.)

Good mystery that has you wondering what the answer could be, until the end.
This puzzle has a locked room and two deaths. A notable business owner is killed at night in a church (just after agreeing to sell his business). All the usual secondary characters are in attendance and the humor flies.
