With the appearance of her dear friend Lord Peter Wimsey, she finds a reason for detective pursuit.

This was my introduction to Lord Peter Whimsy--and I loved it. Both Lord Peter and Harriet Vane are intelligent, deep characters, and their relationship is fascinating. The mystery is quite good, too.
