Description on the back cover:
January Calendar knows what Max Golding is up to. He's a handsome corporate lawyer out to buy up her family's land to build a tacky resort, and his tactics are to charm the pants off her--literally!

But as frosty as January tries to be with Max, she's soon forced to thaw a little--there's a stalker in her hometown, and only Max can protect herfrom being the latest victim! However, that doesn't mean becoming Max's mistress--at the stroke of midnight, his Cinderella is determined to be safely tucked up in her own bed!

This was a really good book. I read this one in a day. It grabbed my attention so well that I didn't even think about putting it down for one minute. The characters are very believable and the plot is well put together. It's full of love, fun and a twist of suspense. I would highly recommend reading this book. This is the first book of three and I personally think that it is the best. I would also recommend reading the next two in the series which are "The Unwilling Mistress" and "The Deserving Mistress"
