High Plains Bride by Linda Lael Miller. This is the 1st McKettrick's book. An old man tells his 3 sons that the 1st to marry and have a child will get the ranch. This Rafe and Emmaline's story. He sends away for a mail order bride. She becomes a mail order bride because her mother is a brothel madam and she's looked down upon. |
