Hello, can anyone recommend a good mail order bride-type story, set in the past? Thanks in advance.

High Plains Bride by Linda Lael Miller. This is the 1st McKettrick's book. An old man tells his 3 sons that the 1st to marry and have a child will get the ranch. This Rafe and Emmaline's story. He sends away for a mail order bride. She becomes a mail order bride because her mother is a brothel madam and she's looked down upon.

Adam's Promise by Julianne MacLean is sort of a mail order bride story. He writes a letter asking for his old flame to come marry him in America and her father sends her sister instead.
