It was not the sort of thing a yearling filly would do -- leave her pasture mates, fly over a fence and run behind her long shadow as fast as ever she could. Her immediate destiny came charging down the mountainside. Wild with excitement, she hurried toward the little band of horses. These were the Indian horses on the reservation and they looked beautiful because they were running free and were excited to see the young mare......
