Both Molly Kinsella and Andrew Fitzpatrick grew up in Dublin, but now work and live in Chicago. Molly is a workaholic attorney who barely has time for Christmas. Andrew works as a photographer. He loves the holidays and looks forward to returning home to visit with family and friends at Christmas. Each year they share a seven-hour flight to Dublin right before Christmas, allowing them to catch up on their lives while passing time on the long flight. This year a storm over the Atlantic has caused their flight to be cancelled. Molly decides that since Christmas with his family is such a big deal for Andrew. she will move heaven and earth to get him to Ireland for the holidays.

I'm not a big fan of contemporary romance; but I saw a review for this book and it sounded fun. Turns out, I absolutely loved this story. This friends to lovers Christmas story has witty banter, great chemistry, and fantastic characters. Molly and Andrew make a whirlwind trip around the world that had me laughing out loud at times. We get flashbacks covering the previous flights where we see how their friendship developed over the years. And we see them both finally realize they have loved each other for a long time.

This is the first time I've read anything by this author. I will be searching for more of her books in the future. I highly recommend this book. My rating: 5 Stars.
