It's really only 92 pages of story with a sneak peek of her next book and a bonus scene from a previous book at the end. If you are looking for a really short read, go for it! I felt like by the time I got to know the characters the book was already over. Shalvis remains one of my favorite contemporary authors, but this was just too short.
