This is classic Wambaugh! All the grit and glamor of the streets is depicted against a backdrop of people who are human beings first and then cops.

A satisfying follow-up to Hollywood Station, and a not too exaggerated send up of that most famously misrepresented area of Los Angeles.

Not quite as good as Hollywood station, quite a bit more serious, but
the usual great Wambaugh style and plot!

Wambaugh returns to Hollywood Station for this tale of greed and murder among the Los Angeles elite, anchoring his tale with the "Community Relations Officers" (the "Crows" of the title) whose responses to complaints about illegal parking, loud music, and domestic squabbles still occasionally puts them in the line of fire.
