What makes this audiobook so special is that it is read by the author, Elizabeth Berg. I listened to this wonderful and poignant tale during a long road trip and it was as if Ms. Berg was sitting in the passenger's seat relating a story about her author friend's husband's sudden death and how the woman dealt with the aftermath.
I recently attended a reading by Ms. Berg of another of her books and I can tell you that her voice is true and clear in conveying her whatever message she chooses to write about. Truly, her writing is like ambrosia. "Home Safe" is a story that is MUCH better listened to than read.
