Ingredients
  • 7-8 oz - warm water
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • 2 tsp - olive oil
  • 3 tsp - honey
  • 3 cups - bread flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp - yeast
Directions

We use the bread machine on dough setting to mix  it up, ( placing ingredients in the order given) then remove it from bread machine-kneading it a couple of more times and place in a full size loaf pan  covered with clean tea towel to rise

Bake in 315 degree oven for about 30 minutes,  place on wire rack to cool

 

 


Notes

We have also had good results replacing 1 cup of white flour with wheat flour.

As an alternative to a loaf pan, we frequently shape the dough into a long loaf, cover and let rise, and use it to make French toast.

This is our family's favorite bread recipe, we stopped buying store bought bread about a year ago, and make all our own now.

We love this recipe for its simplicity and ease of preparation. Even the kids make bread now!

I am trying this tonight, but I use a Bosch Universal mixer instead of a bread machine. Will let you know how it turns out.
