Alan Brennert is an excellent author who not only weaves the type of story you just can't put down but gives you the insider view of Hawaii. I didn't think he could top Moloka'i but Honolulu is a different type of excellent story.
this book was really good. i found myself staying up until 3 and 4 in the morning reading this. the story of regret was very well written.
