At least this book serves as a warning! Women, beware! Parents, be scared! Men, please be the anti-Tucker! Drunken, selfish, womanizing that is sometimes funny, but mostly just mean and sad. Then again, I'm a woman, so I'm not exactly the target audience!

This book was absolutely hilarious! However, if you're offended by things like Howard Stern and R rated movies, pass on this one.

This book sounded like a funny read...The first few stories were funny but then it just got boring. How many drunk stories can I read? After a few they all sound the same. I would NOT waste your money on this one.

Tucker Max is going to hell. If Tucker Max doesn't go to hell. Then no one ever will. I felt filthy after I read this book. I did laugh until I cried. This book is not for the faint of heart.

Like his web site states, Tucker Max is an a$$hole. However, he is an a$$hole with the ability to make you laugh out loud despite yourself. Probably one of the best books I've ever read.

Funny in parts, but several of the anecdotes were repeated in later stories. The repetitiveness was a little boring. This book is mostly about sex, with a little booze thrown in. If I had opened the book to middle to read it (instead of the first few pages) I would not have bought it. I think the target audience for this book is males, age 18-29. Also a good book for girls who date like men.

If you don't want to wait in line for it on PBS, or buy it yourself, you can always go to www.tuckermax.com and read practically all of the anecdotes there.

THIS BOOK WAS A WASTE OF MONEY! Especially since you can read it on his website!

Not for the easily offendable and I have to disagree with people who say that women aren't his target audience. Me and my girlfriends got the biggest kick out of this book and Tucker and his friends. I didn't pay anything for the book but I don't think I'd be upset if I had. He has a great sense of humor which goes a long way with me and I love that he speaks his mind...whenever and wherever. I suppose people that bite their tongue a lot, along with women like the ones he's had many encounters with wouldn't so much enjoy it but I certainly did! : ) The chapters are short so it makes the book go a little faster and the fact that you just have to get to the end of each particular story make for a fast read. If you're not the easily offended type and value humor- however different- give it a try!

I will admit that I did not read the whole book, but it basically is a ramble about this guys sexual prowess(from his standpoint) and his total waste of time life. I found this book to be demeaning to women and a waste of my time

Five years ago, I read many of these stories on Tucker's website and was laughing hysterically. Now, the stories aren't as funny to me. They are boring. After the 15th story about him puking in the bushes or in a cab and sleeping with some dumb bimbo, you get the idea. Tucker is a party god. Can I read something else now?

Before I start off this review I think it's safe to say this book is not for everyone. Simply, if you are a feminist and/or dislike crude humor don't mark this as a "to read" on your bookshelf. Tucker and his crew are extremely misogynistic but also sharp witted and clever. Tucker has definetly solidified his seat next to the Devil as his right hand man and the women who throw themselves at his c**k got what they had cumming to them (and all over them). I thought the book was hilarious! I seen the movie first and I loved it. Which subsquently ruined "The Hangover" for me because "IHTSBIH" was much better. So glad I decided to read the book. I have never laughed so much while reading a book. At times my fits of laughter were so extreme I wasn't sure I would recover. I look forward to reading the next book. Last but not least, I want to send a special thank you to the self hating whores with zero self esteem that earned a spot in this book. Without you this book wouldn't of been the same. For that I thank you.

I read a post of his online several years before I even knew he had a book. It had me laughing outloud, and so did the rest of the book. We all know he's a douche bag, but that's what makes his short true (maybe some, but i doubt all) stories so hilarious. I'd definitely recommend this to someone who is in need of a laugh out loud, vulgar, chauvinistic read.

I thought this book was entertaining to say the least, and it made me keep wanting to read late into the night. I am not a prude or anything close to it, but some of the things he wrote in the book made me cringe. Tucker Max is every girls worst nightmare in a man, and I think that's what also makes the book more appealing, at least to me. I am looking forward to his second book, Asshole's Finish First.

Wow. The most disturbing, disgusting book I have ever read. I still thought it was hilarious. If you are easily offended or looking for a reason to be offended, DO NOT READ this book. If you are willing to read without taking things personally, (and don't mind graphic sex, insults against every type of female alive & explicit descriptions of bodily functions) you might be able to enjoy the humor.

I'm probably going to hell for enjoying this book! Rude, crude, obnoxious, totally inappropriate and in your face, but told with such earnest and humor I couldn't help but laugh my ass off. I have a very large ass to match the rest of my large luscious self, and yet I almost wet myself reading the fat chick story. This book is a flipping riot, but only if you can handle descriptive twisted sexual acts, vomit, poop, STD's, and a very healthy dose of drunken people, mainly the author. Enjoy!

Warning, this book is not for the faint of heart or stomach! If you can get past the descriptive details of vomiting and sexual exploits, this book is quite entertaining. Tucker Max is every parent's nightmare of what their son might turn out to be or what their daughter might date. Although Max seems to revel in his exploitation of women and his extreme party animal lifestyle, there are times when he is honest with himself and the reader and admits his lifestyle is sad and lonely. This book is sometimes hilarious, sometimes disturbing, often a little bit of both.

I, too, hope they serve beer in hell. I bought this hoping it would be different stories than are on his website (most are readable for free at tuckermax.com), but wasn't disappointed. Yeah, he's a drunk, egomaniacal, misogynistic a-hole, but he's also smart, funny, and unapologetic about it. I laughed until I cried at some parts, but mostly because I've been there. He's not "extreme" for anyone who was ever a scenester or in a frat, but he's certainly a lot more obnoxious. Most definitely not for everyone, but some of the most entertaining people are an acquired taste. I put the book down wanting to go have a beer with him.

A great book if the subject matter doesn't faze you. Massive amounts of profanity, debauchery and humor. Tucker Max has sufficient writing skill to continue making you laugh each page, but some of the stories are so insanely ridiculous and borderline impossible that one wonders if this is truly a work of non-fiction.

Read it, enjoy it, but do not believe it as fact.

If you want to swim through a dirty toilet, read this book.

The author is a misogynistic, sociopathic creep.

He seems to live to impress other men, and to care only for other men.

His movie has lost millions of dollars and one can only hope that he will curl up in a corner and die from the many stds that he admits to having.

I hope that at some point he is prosecuted for some of his exploits, notably the one where he admits to punching a young girl in the vagina as she was standing on her hands, while tee-heeing and running away to giggle in a corner.

I shudder to think of the impressionable young men who read this book and use it as a manifesto on how to be cool and have the other boys like you, which Tucker Max strives for.

Many of the females he abused verbally and sexually were barely out of childhood if that.

May karma introduce herself to him.

The biggest tragedy is that this seems to be a somewhat intelligent person who could have succeeded on a higher level. Instead he chose to throw away the talent he was born with and sink to a bottom-feeder level. I guess he found an easy audience there who was easily impressed. He gets to be god of the bottom-feeders.

I'm still slightly in shock after reading this book. While I definitely laughed out loud at the ridiculous and albeit insane antics of Tucker Max, I also wanted to throw up after reading most of the stories. Do not read this book if you have any sort of prudish tendencies! It is exceptionally graphic in a sexual manner but if you appreciate good potty humor and can handle reading the sexcapades of a drunken college kid, then you will enjoy this book.

Tucker Max is like a guy you'd want to hang out with while simultaneously thanking God you don't have to. His stories are degrading to women (and humans in general), self-inflating, downright disgusting... and absolutely hilarious. Most can be found on his website, negating the need for an actual book, but I did enjoy reading away from my computer. Bottom line, I hope Tucker Max writes a few more books before spending eternity in a pit of fire. We could all use the laugh.

I did not read this book straight through. I skipped around, but I believe that I ended up reading all of the stories. I'm an open minded person with a different sense of humor so I was quite amused by this book. I'm just glad nothing like what these stories talk about has ever happened to me.

It made me laugh a few times, but after a while all the stories are almost the same, just and idiot getting drunk and the consequences after that, always ending at some girl's apartment etc, etc.
Only in America a book like this reach the New York Times Bestseller list!!!
It make wonder how this kind of guys graduate and get scholarships from good colleges, when all they do during their college years is to get drunk...... also portrays all women like retarded and stupid inferior individuals.
I'm glad I just paid a couple dollars to get this book, and now it goes back into the system.

This book is funny but also gives a inside view of how demeaning some guys can be. I am copying a page out of it where he lectures girls that a man will only treat you as you insist on being treated. Every insecure girl of dating age should read this book so they can believe that there are guys out there like Tucker Max everywhere. I am going to give that page to my daughter to warn her when she is 16. I wish I had had a warning as a teen. Hopefully he became a nice person or has 10 daughters now as punishment.

Since I started reading this book, I have talked about it to anyone who will listen. It was just so shocking! All the stories in the book are supposedly true accounts of Tucker Max's hedonistic adventures. I just can't believe there are guys like this out there! But at least he admits what he is.

The stories are completely disgusting but also completely hilarious. He is a jerk. He is a drunk. He is a male whore. But he is also funny- his one redeeming quality.

He has no filter and is very mean to girls. He doesn't just âlove em and leave emâ he emotionally abuses them and uses them until they finally wake up and smell the nasty in this guy. I have no idea why any self-respecting girl would put up with him. But I guess there are a lot of girls out there who have no self-respect since he brags that his ânumberâ is well into the triple digits.

His writing is actually pretty good though. The stories flow really well and he surprising has a pretty good vocabulary. The other âcharactersâ in the book are pretty well developed. So as a writer, I give him props. It's just that the content of the stories will leave you in complete shock with your mouth hanging wide open for hours.

This is very much a âguyâ book, but for girls it will probably be like a car wreckâ¦I just couldn't look away. I was obsessed with it and finished it in less than a week.

I give this book 4.5 out of 5 stars because I loved reading it.
But I give Tucker Max a negative 2 star rating as a human being.
Keep the funny, but loose the meanness and get some morals dude.

Hilarious read! I laughed so hard on some of the stories I actually had to stop reading to regain my breath. One of the funniest books I have EVER read. If you get offended easily, not the book for you. If you find crass, obnoxious "boy humor" funny, then you'l will laugh out loud at this book. This is an entertaining read provided you know what you are getting into. I was familiar with Tucker Max so I knew what I was getting. It is base humor that is often offensive and denigrating to anyone not named Tucker Max. Having said that I found it very funny every man that has spent time in the company of other men be it college, military service or whatever can relate not only to his stories but to his cast of friends. We've all been around that guy at some point in our lives and some of us have even been that guy. Not for the thin skinned, politically correct, most women or anyone seeking literary merit. Everyone else enjoy.

Sorry, but only a half-star.
326 wasted pages.

I got my book at a library book sale for 15 cents, so I'm not out too much. The only salvation for this book is to hang it up in an outhouse somewhere as emergency paper - perhaps a porta-johnny?

I would be ashamed to post this one on PBS and inflict possible damage to any decent human being who unknowingly ordered and read this book without any heads-up...so my copy will not be posted, instead I will drill a hole through the corner of the book, remove the covers and find a porta-johnny to hang it up in.

As for the author and the characters: no comment

Last comment - I read the entire book even though I really lost interest by the 3rd chapter (well 3rd story starting on page 27). Kept looking for something to redeem this book even if only for comedic humor . Just never found it. Hoped towards the end that there may have been an awakening, but sadly just the same stuff - nothing.

Tucker Max is a total a**hole. He admits to being one, but that doesn't make it right. This book is definietly not for everyone. You have to know what kind of book you're reading before you read it. This book is a collection of stories about Tucker's drunken adventures. He basically gets drunk a lot and tries to sleep with as many women as he can. Some of his stories were funny, some were stupid, and some were just wrong on so many levels. Overall, it was a funny book. Just know what you're getting yourself into.
