Hope Springs by Kim Cash Tate- book review
Hope Springs becomes the center of the universe for the family of Grandma Geri gather around her for the Christmas holidays and the dire announcement of lung cancer. Everyone has to evaluate their place in the family, community, church and Gods will for their lives. Each family member has a different reaction, but all love and cherish Grandma Geri and want to spend time with her, especially now that the end may be near.
But coming back to Hope Springs is not so easy. Each granddaughter faces unique challenges from memories and people living in Hope Springs. God speaks to each one in a new and unique way about His undying love for them and His plan for their lives. Each must learn again to trust God and trust in other people.
Other themes that show up in this modern novel include race and the church, divorce and infidelity, and the roles of extended family in todays society. Well written novel, easy to get to know the family members, although at the beginning it was a little overwhelming. The story is set at Christmas time, but it is a good summer read too.

This is the first book that I really have not enjoyed from this author. There's just too many characters and it jumps around from one event to months later to another event.
Each of the characters have their own stories But each of their stories coincide with the other's story.
Just a very confusing book
