I thought I'd give her another try. As with her other novels, Lloyd's storytelling just falls flat. I don't find myself drawn to her characters or the plot at all.

Not one of her best efforts. The story line was ridiculous and it was not nearly as steamy as some of her other, better, works.

The author's attention to detail was so boring that it made the story downright tedious.
The characters were so cliched they were laughable; the storyline soooo predictable. And her preaching and moralizing about prostitution was just plain silly. All in all, it was just a waste of time.

I was a little disappointed in this one. It just seemed more like the women in the book was narrating the story rather than actually living it. The story had potential but just didn't play out for me.
