The hotel is somewhere at the Italian Riviera 90210 where several women (young to middle-age) vie for the attention of one another as well as the several male populace (married and otherwise). Here we have the psychology of a forced social environment. If nothing else, her prose, meticulously orchestrated, is worth the reading. No great doings, merely ordinary social intercourse in what should be an exotic environment. A true slice of life!
