The book begins at his child hood and continues to his death. This book does a good job descriping his life. It also tells you the way he did some of his tricks.this book is easy to read. Also if you enjoy magic, you might likes this book.

Born in Erich Weiss, he learned magic while working as a photographer's assistant in New York. Soon he and his brother were performing all over town. But Houdini wouldn't settle for just being a magician-he wanted more.
