time slips through my fingers like water, the hourglass quietly empties motioning silently to the coming hour change – alarm silently resounds in my heart an insidious presence, a coming age a coming OF age, murmurs its promise of arrival in my ear I watch, I pray, knowing this time awaits I hope, I pray, struggling through distraction to seek Your face love whispers to me; I accept my lack of it its empty cavity cries to be filled within me knowledge, frees the illusions of self and others before me the matrix slowly revealed, bigger than itself lies the Omniscience arranging at will the hours ahead I lie in his stead |
