From the back....The house looks so normal, perfect for a young couple starting out together. But this house was built on the site of an unspeakable series of murders, butchery so savage that the brick walls of the basement seemed to flow with blood. Tony was just a boy then, now he's brought his new wife to live in a new house on the same site. As she starts to go mad with dark visions and nightmares, she must find out, why is the basement drawing her. What calls her from beyond the wall?

Be warned, very graphic, and chilling images, Ms.Giron does not hold back. She reminds me of Laymon,or Ketchum. Do we really know who the person is laying next to us? Creepy, Creepy, be careful who you fall in love with!

This book literally had me afraid to turn out the light. There are many things going on at the same time and at first you start to think there is something off about the female lead but it quickly develops into a engrossing plot of buried secrets and unspeakable horror. The house is evil and its changing everyone to get what it wants.

One of the weirdest novels I've read - but in a good way. Creepy, suspenseful, and unique. Good horror/fantasy novel. Recommended for mature audiences only!

After reading reviews for the book. I was excited to receive and read. What a disappointment! Laymon and Ketchum, she is NOT!!!! I found nothing in this book scary. Even the so-called graphic scenes weren't that graphic. A Goosebumps books would have been more suspenseful and scary. I am glad I did NOT order more books from this author as I will not read her again......TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!!!!!!
