This is a great idea. I gave out toothbrushes a couple of years ago, and the kids just loved them! Stickers, pencils, books, small toys (Kid's Meal toys are great to give out!), etc... You could even give out a cute craft kit. The possibilities are endless........

We don't get any trick or treater's but I did buy some books for the kids next door and my nephew instead of candy.  They loved the books last year so I'll do it again this year.

I LOVE the idea of books for trick or treaters ... I'll have to think ahead next year!!

with 125 trick or treaters at our house - from toddlers to early teens - just not feasible
