Prior to founding Self-Esteem Seminars, he was director of education for an international training corporation, conducting seminars across the U.S., Canada, Australia, Europe and Asia for corporations, schools and governmental groups. He has run three successful companies and has been a university teacher and trainer of teachers.
As a result of his work with prisoners, welfare recipients and inner-city youth, Jack was appointed by the state legislature to the California Task Force to Promote Self Esteem and Personal and Social Responsibility. He is also on the board of trustees of the National Council for Self-Esteem and has published four books, including the best selling 100 Ways to Enhance Self-Concept in the Classroom (now in its 28th printing) and Self-Esteem in the Classroom: A Curriculum Guide.
