Is there some way I can clear a book from my shelf that was originally a double post. I can't clear it myself because the book is on a wishlist hold.

It wouldn't be a big deal to leave it except I found another copy at the FOL and bought it knowing there was a wait list and now I can't post the new one because it says I already have a copy on my shelf but it is not showing in my transactions.

Is this an R&R issue or can someone else help me out.

I dont know of Im understanding you fully but I'll try to answer you.

1.) Do you mean that you posted a copy of the book but it posted it twice? If so you'll just have to wait it out and explain to one person that you cant send to them. There is no way to cancel it once its gone into the WL limbo.

2.) You posted the book and now have another copy you want to post? If so youll still have to wait until it gets ordered but if you actually have two copies then I dont see an issue there.

Its sort of half and half....  I had previously posted a copy of the book and ended up with a double post at that time which never cleared even though I cancelled the duplicate transaction.

Now I have another copy I would like to post but can't add it because it says there is a copy already on my shelf but that copy can't be requested.

Does it have the grey ! by it or a blank box?

How long has it been like that? If it's more than 48 hrs, then it's stuck and R&R will have to fix it.

I have no idea how long its been like that I just noticed it the day before yesterday.

Just send them feedback and whicever one is available can fix it.

Can you PM the person you cancelled the second book on and tell them you have it now and post it directly to them?  (Does than make sense?)

I tried checking that. But the book is no longer on that person's wishlist so I suspect she got it from someone else in the meantime and I can't find out who the one other wisher is.

I guess I'll just have to wait until R&R can clear the old one off my shelf.

I too have one like that , which has been stuck for ages...didn't want to bother the R's with it though...
