I mailed a book 1st class back on Oct. 6. I got the postage from the PO and mail it from there. So far the book hasn't been marked received. All the others I mailed that day and since then have been received.  How long should I wait to pm the requestor? I don't want to seem pushy, I'm just wondering if they forgot to mark the book or if there was a problem shipping.

it could be one of those freak things that take longer than normal.  I know someone mailed books to me along with others and my books took a week longer (and I was only 1 state over) than the others.

I probably wouldn't ask until it had been 2 weeks because the person could be on vacation or something as well.

also how do you know if that member is not on vacation or something?

I once had a first class book take the full time allotted.  It was received one day before it was due to go lost.  I wouldn't worry about it yet.
