I got a notice on 11/1/07 at 2:39 PM ET that a book I've wanted is being held for me.  A book I recently mailed hasn't been credited to my account yet, and I'm all out of credits.  As soon as I got the notice I went and purchased credits.  My hold will expire in about 5 hours and I bought the credits over 40 hrs ago.  How long should I wait to receive them?  I don't want to lose my hold and my 'help' email has not yet been responded to be PBS.''

Laura, you should have received them by now.  How did you pay for the credits?  Check your money register and see if it is recorded there.  I'll buddy you a credit in the meantime so you won't lose your wish list book before you figure out what is wrong.

Joy -

Wow!  Thanks for the credit!  I will return the favor when I get mine! I paid for the credits via Paypal.  I've done this before and I don't think it took that long at all for it to credit to my account.

Where is my money register located?  I currently have 0 credits but $8.61 in PBS money (leftover from a $20 transfer I did ages ago).

Oh, I found the money registry and the last item listed is the $ taken when I printed postage.

Okay, did you get an e-mail from service@ PayPal telling you that your purchase was recorded?  Also check your PayPal account ~ if there is nothing there by now something must have happened when you ordered and it just didn't go through, so you may want to purchase them again if you need more, or just wait until you get more credits from books you sent out.  And you are very welcome!

Joy - yes, I got the instant email from Paypal that showed my purchase so I knew it went thru right away.

I will just wait and hope that PBS credits me soon.  Usually they are quick to respond to questions/problems, so I'm not too worried.  I just didn't want to lose my book! Thanks for being so nice to a stranger!

We're not strangers Laura, we're all PBS family!  I was happy to do it.
