Interior Design student Grace Travis has inherited her grandparent's beach bungalow. It has been abandoned for a long time and Grace plans to use her knowledge to eventually make it her home. Her new neighbor, Noah Jansen, is a real estate developer who has decided to put down roots in his current house. But he needs more room for a pool and wants to buy Grace's property so he can expand. Now Noah plans to talk Grace into giving in and selling her property.
I don't get all of the great reviews for this book. Obviously, I missed something. I didn't like Noah at all. He was a rich guy used to getting his way and thought Grace would eventually give in. And I was also totally bored with this story. I listened to three hours of the audiobook and the main characters had fought about fixing a fence, then had a competition to see who could pain a wall the quickest. I gave up at that point. DNF.
