How would I get somebody's books if a lot of people are requestiong them? I posted something in the 'Book Bazaar' and somebody responded. How could we exchange books for credits without posting it in the book list?

Thanks!

I'm not sure if I understand your question.  What exactly are you trying to do?  You really aren't supposed to trade books without going through the system.  Why would you do that?

eta:  If the person has the book on their wishlist, you can go directly to their wishlist and post the book there so that it will go directly to them.

Sorry, that wasn't very clear....

I posted on the Book Bazaar and somebody sent me a PM saying they have the books I was looking for. How could we trade books without outting the books in the FIFO list?

EDIT: Thanks! How do I delete this post/topic?

you would click on that person's name- then go to their booklist. This would take you straight to their shelf and you could order right from them.

Hope that helps,

Wade,

the topics fall off the board after 45 days (I believe).  Until then it just needs to move on down the line.  But no question is a dumb one.  Personally, I 've learned a lot reading other's questions and answers.

Wade, on thing to be careful of, when wanting to order books from a specific person. When you get to their shelf, and see a book you want, then click the book to read the details. You MUST click back to be ON THEIR SHELF when you order the book, or it does go into the FIFO.

If the page you are on when you order the book, has their name at the top of the page, you are ordering directly from that person. If it only has the details of the book, you are ordering from the FIFO.

Wade, if you are asking how you can get books that might be on other people's Wish Lists, the person can post them directly to your Wish List, as long as the ISBNs in question are ON your Wish List.
