This is a thinly veiled attempt to explain quantum physics to the layman and it is mostly successful on that level. The author's dog, Emmy, talks to him at length about issues that lead to historical explanations that make the subject semi-understandable. Not exactly a fun read, but rewarding nonetheless. Recommended to seekers of knowledge.
