Whey was this thread bumped after over 2yrs?  I was about to respond to it as well and then saw the comments about how old it was!

For the record: If you go by bookshelves I would probably look like a dead account as well. I post mostly WL books and go month sometimes without having a book posted to my shelf that stays there.  I will frequently post heavily posted TBR books in batches to get them moving up FIFO.  But it seems like most of what I read is WL, ordered quickly or for games. 

I always look at the WL.  If it's been months since a book was added to the WL I can almost guarantee that it'll time out.  But I let it go because it helps weed the dead accounts out.

Yes, horrid as it sounds, I am number two.  But pushing hard for number one...
