You can do a search for a book you want and then add it to your wish list. If the book doesn't come up, it could be that it isn't anywhere on the site. Then you have to do an advanced search and specify "All Books" and it will search for books that aren't on this site. Then you can add it to your wish list. |

Welcome to PBS!! Yes, just click on wish list button and you will have started your wish list. To find other books to add, you can search the system by author, title, genre all under the Search tab at the top of your account page. If a book comes up with the flag ""Post this Book" it means there are no copies available and you can put it on your wish list. If it says "Order this Book" there are copies available and you can order it, or place it on your reminder list. You won't be able to put it on your wish list because there are available copies. Under Search you will also see a listing for books posted today, which can be helpful to review as well as the New York Times Best Seller List. The other thing you can do to find new books to order or put on your wish list is to subscribe to the Daily Digest. You can sign up for this on your Account Settings Page, it is right at the top. The Digest is sent to your e-mail each morning, and contains a list of all the books posted or wish listed the previous day. When you sign up, you will be given a chance to choose which genres you want to see. I've chosen Mysteries, Cooking, & Sports. I've been using the Digest for several months and not only have added to my wish list, but I have ordered alot of books through it and have found a ton of authors and titles that are brand new to me. For some other information about Wish Lists, click your Help tab and choose the option "Browse Help Docs" There is a ton of information there about using the site and includes wish list information as well. Again, welcome to PBS!

Just another tip - as you will soon find out, certain books have many people wishing for them, and it's first come, first serve around here. So, the earlier you get that book on your wishlist, the closer to the front of the line you are. So, if you find a book you want, don't hesitate to put it on your list! |
