There is a book that I would like to add to my wishlist, but it's not listed in the system yet.  It doesn't come out until March 2008, and it is the next book in the Joanne Fluke Hannah Swensen mysteries.  It's called Carrot Cake Murder.  Can anyone help?  Thanks!

Well on Amazon I found Candy Cane Murder coming out in October 2007. 

But I don't see Carrot Cake Murder up there yet.  Until it has an ISBN, I think you'd be wasting your time.

It's my understanding that until a book is in the larger book database from which PBS gets it's info, the book doesn't really "exist".  I checked our store's distributor, and they do not yet have the book in  the system either (and they get their info as to ISBN and release date from the publisher).  Just keep checking, and once it's in the "system" it can be added to the WL (BTW, some books can be added YEARS before they come out, and some can't until a year or so before the release date, just depends on the publisher)

Nothing much in there that folks haven't already said above.

I've had that happen to me and I don't believe you can do anything about it until the book is posted in the system.  What you can do is "save" the search - there's a button towards the bottom of the search screen.  This way, you can remind yourself to search for it periodically so that when it is added to the database, you can add it to your WL.

Thanks everyone!  Hope it gets listed in the system soon, it said was coming out in March, and that is according to Joanne Flukes website!
