Simply written in poetic prose, this book takes us down a road of one girl's journey of discovery. This simply written story begins with Rachel's bi-polar mother packing up and leaving the family. Rachel is left to carry on with her father whom she doesn't really know. The two forge ahead and must learn to live, cope, love, and carry on with their lives together. I loved this book. It can easily be read in one sitting. It's a book that stays with you long after it is read. (American Library Association Notable Book)
