a lively historical whodunit
This was a fun fast moving read with the premise that PT Barnum and Edgar Allan Poe join forces. Great sentence structure and vocabulary.
not his usual type of book. very hard read.
An interesting take on historical fiction. Edgar Allen Poe and P.T. Barnum join to solve a murder. (They really did know each other!)Written in a Poe-esque style. A bit hard to get into, but fun after you get the style. Lovely vocabulary and writing style. I will look for more of this author's books.
