One of Florida's most successful criminal attorneys, Karen Perry-Mondori has begun to wonder whether she can go on defending clients she secretly believes are guilty. Then Angelo Uccello asks her to take on his case. The FBI has unearthed enough cocaine in Uccello's safe to put the notorious crime boss away for good. But Uccello insists he was set up. And the suspicious circumstances surrounding his arrest may prove his innocence. Yet even Karen doesn't realize how far the facts will take her...from the Colombian drug cartels to the FBI itself - in an explosive conspiracy that stretches to the highest levels of government. With her own career and life on the line, Karen discovers that she is bound to her client by something even more deadly than the law - caught in a ruthless game of justice where Not Guilty could be the most dangerous verdict of all...
