I just loved this book. Tony Danza known for his acting arranges to have a television show document what it is like to teach in an inner city school. I first thought this was going to be a gimmick but Mr. Danza taught 10th graders for a school year. He just taught 26 students for one class instead of what a regular teacher would have. But he soon learns there is more to teaching than just the teaching part. The book is inspirational as he tries to reach each of his students. Danza's teaching is sincere and his students are his priority. I recommond the book to those in the teaching field or to those who just want a glimpse into what goes into teaching.
