Very good book...I read it in a day. I got so involved in the book that I could not put it down.

It is a story about a cursed viking trying to make a life with his lady love. Very good book. First in the "brotherhood" series (9 total).

I would highly recommend this book and am looking forward to reading the other eight.

The first novel in a new, very original historical paranormal romance series about nine cursed Vikings. The Fabio-like cover turned me off from reading it at first, but I was glad once I opened the cover. Solid, intriguing plot and excellent character development. I'm looking forward to reading more of the Vikings' stories.

This book begins the series. I loved this book! Wow the characters keep you there from the beginning! These guys are shape-shifters because of a curse that was put upon them by a evil witch. They are looking for the witch to break the curse but in the meantime they fall in love, live among mortals and try to keep their secret safe. It is one of those books that you will not want to put down...

I selected this book because I was mistaken about it's genre. I thought it was a paranormal. Turns out it is an historical with a wiff of paranormal. But by the time I realized this I was so enamored with Lisa Hendrix's writing style, that I powered through the rest post haste. Ordinarily I run from Historicals as fast as I can; all that misdirection and angst bores me. I want storys that go Bang Pow Smash! Immortal Warrior doesn't have much bang pow smash. don't look for a lot of plot, but the characters are well defined and the premise is interesting. Now that the foundation has been layed it will be interesting to see what happens. At the beginning it was made clear that there are 9 individuals whose story will be told one at a time.
