This story has everything, including adventure and humor. I love the way Byrne brings you right into the plot and introduces her characters. Here's a brief recap. Learning his grandmother has adopted a widow as her companion (by name, Mrs. Amaris - Amy - Chantry}, Marcus returns home to route her out; finds Amy intriguing, brave, straight-forward - - and still wed. All problems resolved by the end of the inspirational rescue off a cliff.
