I just finished this book and posted it, but there are more copies then mine listed.  It was written under the name Kay-Marie James, a pseudonym of a "New York Times" best selling author as a way to help a friend who was struggling financially.  On the back it's reccommended by:

Jeanne Ray (Julie and Romeo, Step Ball Change)

Anne D. LeClaire (Leaving Eden, Entering Normal)

Jo-Ann Mapson (Bad Girl Creek and Along Came Mary)

Jacquelyn Mitchard (Deep End of the Ocean)

I believe they all worked on this book together and the name of the author is a combination of thier names/kids names.  I looked on line trying to find the real name of the author but couldn't find anything.  It was a pretty good book that didn't get the attention it deserved.  Happy reading, Karen

I read the book, it was very quick read.  A lot of  "food for thought."   I think culinary "foodies" would enjoy it!

Interesting story!  I have a copy on my TBR mountain and just checked it out.  I didn't notice the author bio on the back jacket.  Glad to hear it was an enjoyable read!

After I read this post I went and read my copy-excellent, quick, entertaining read.  IMO it sounds JUST LIKE something Jeanne Ray would write!  I enjoyed this book very much, some parts had me laughing out loud!
