read thsi book in middle school and never forgot it. Can't belive I found it without remembering the title or author, just the plot! My memory of it is vague, but it must have been a good read for it to have stuck with me for so long. Can't wait to read it again! Wonder what I will think of it as an adult?

I read this book in middle school and the story has stayed with me. The plot is not complex but I would highly recommend the book for someone who is just starting to read science fiction or younger readers.

Interesting story; well written. One could wish that the internal conflicts and issues weren't solved so neatly and easily - the story almost makes being taken from your parents at an early age, scavaging for survival, and being stranded on an uninhabited planet seem fun. The story deserves more complexity, and it (and the author who wrote it) is more than capable of giving it. But still an interesting story and a good read, and one that has stuck with me since I read it in middle school.

It's the future and most jobs are done by machines. School is over and now Lisse and her friends are invited to play the Game which transports them to paradise. Never read it, could be good. In great condition.
