There is a thread in the Book Bazaar forum just for WL books with different ISBNs. Post it there.

The PBS system lets people know that a book similar to the one you have wished for has become available.  This happened to me last night, a book I had on my wishlist came up, same book just different isbn because it was a different copyright.  I was thrilled and ordered the one I was notified about!

Just give it sometime, or do as the other psoter suggested and try the Bazzar.  :o)

The e-mail notification for different versions IS an optional thing, though--not everyone has it enabled, so they may NOT get a notification. Also, they might get the notification but only want the particular version of the book they have WL'd to complete a set or something. (I have a few on my own WL that I only want in hardcover for my keeper shelf, so I ignore all the e-mails I get about different versions.) The book bazaar forum is your best bet; find the thread that's called something like 'wishlisted books on my shelf w/different ISBN" or something like that.

Where do we sign up for that notification on the different ISBN?  I never knew of this option before, thanks!!

Under MY ACCOUNT, SETTINGS and then go down to EMAIL SETTINGS.  There is an option to receive emails when other versions of WL books are posted.

Go to your account page and then click settings. Scroll down to the next to the last box. It will say I DO NOT want ..... and have a list of things to select. The very last one is for alternate versions of WL books. If its got a check mark in the box you wont recieve the emails so uncheck it and then click update email settings.

Wow...I can only imagine all the wish listed items that i've missed that are on my WL...*big sigh* followed by a slap on the forehead....
