Hard to get into. The book seems too simple and childish no matter how intricate the author tries to delve in the many twists and turns Huani's life takes. I couldn't get passed the first chapter and ended up skimming chapters here and there to get the jist of the book.
Huani longs to be free, but her parents and society keep her roped in by following the rules as much as she longs for her sailor lover.
